MatchBox Gallery
Matchbox Gallery is situated on the Main Street of Yinnar, West Gippsland, just over 1.5 hours drive east of Melbourne.
Nestled at the foot of the Strzelecki ranges, Yinnar is fast becoming a regional arts centre hosting the biannual Gippsland Sculpture Exhibition (GSE) and the Arts Resource Collective Gallery (Arc) in the old Butter Factory.
The Gallery
Matchbox Gallery opened as an art gallery and lead light business in 1999. Our Heritage listed cottage houses a boutique Art Gallery that will surprise and delight . We specialise in leadlight repairs and the Gallery hosts both group and solo exhibitions. A ten minute drive from Federation University and Morwell National Park, Yinnar has a RV stop over and the planned rail trail that will link Yinnar with Morwell in one direction and the nearby beautiful towns of Boolarra and Mirboo North to the west.
